Catch Me, Lord!

Happy Friday, Everyone!

Before diving into this week’s Five Minute Friday, I wanted to let you know that one of my devotionals is running over at Encouragement Cafe. I would love for you to hop over there and check it out CLICK HERE.

Now, for Five Minute Friday! Five Minute Friday is “a time when we just write for 5 minutes on a specific topic not worrying whether everything is just right.” If you would like to join in CLICK HERE.

TOPIC: Catch

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the topic this week was the song “Who Am I” by Casting Crowns.

“Still you hear me when I’m calling.
Lord, you catch me when I’m falling.
And, you told me who I am.
I am Yours.”

I don’t know where you are today.
I don’t know whether your feet are slipping or if they’re firmly planted.

I don’t know where you are today.
I don’t know whether your hand is holding tightly to His or if you’ve loosened your grip.

I don’t know where you are today.
I don’t know whether you are running away from Him or if you are running with Him.

But I do know this.
You belong to Him.

Whether you know it or not.
Whether you accept it or not.

He created you and You are His.
He will fight for you.
He’ll catch you…
if you’ll let Him.

    Similar thoughts today, Eileen. 🙂
I love knowing that God pursues me, He fights for me, and He sings over me. Amazing!

Beautiful and needed, Eileen. Isn't it amazing that He gives us the choice to run to Him or not. Praying for His gracious catch today!
