Today, my seven year old needed this reminder. Perhaps, he’s not the only one.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praiseβ
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
(Psalm 56: 3-4)
In God, whose word I praiseβ
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
(Psalm 56: 3-4)
What can mere mortals due to me! Put's it all into perspective!
If God is for me (and He is) who can be against me? I will put my trust in God alone. Great encouragement for this day, Eileen!
39 year-olds need that reminder from time to time also. Thanks!
Love the picture–it says it all. Placing my hand and all my loved ones' hands in Him.

Great thoughts, guys. As always, I think when problems and concerns arise in my child's life, God finds a way to teach me things as I teach my son! Our Heavenly Father is smart like that. π
Eileen, I needed this. I have been releasing a fear to God this week. I even blogged about it today. π
Great verses and so true… we need not fear for He is with us! Thanks Eileen π
Hi Eileen – I'm posting on Monday with this scripture. I also had a 'moment' of clarity around one of my fears. If God is for us who can be against us? Great reminder and lovely picture too.
God bless
Tracy

Amen Eileen! If God is for me then what can a mere mortal do to me, powerful stuff.
