While driving through downtown Atlanta last week, my husband, a born and raised Georgia boy, pointed out the dome on the Georgia Capitol Building to our son…
“Look, Sean, the top of the Capitol building is made with real gold.”
“Wow, Dad, I guess you’re right. Georgia really is God’s country, cause the streets in heaven are paved in gold too!”
“The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.”

I may be bias here because I am a Georgia girl myself, but I love, love, LOVE this post! Georgia is God's country! 🙂 Thanks, Eileen!
I'm thinking all my in-laws would agree with you 🙂
Since I am a Marietta GA girl…I totally agree. Y'all keep on teaching that boy the truth!!:)
Hi Eileen, got your message I was having problems leaving comments too, but I think everything is ok now, I am just leaving this comment as a test to see if it is working, you can delete it if you want.
How sweet :)I'm out of the loop having never been to Georgia… but I am blessed to know some really great people from there!
How sweet! 🙂
Kandi, blogger has been having issues with this for awhile now. I found two solutions. One, the pop out comment window does not have problems. So you can change your comment form to that pop out window. Second, if you can download and use Google Chrome, it has no problems. It is just something with IE and blogger.
Thanks Jennifer!
Eileen, I hope you don't mind us using your blog as a message board.
I haven't been to Georgia Eileen, but I love Sean's comment. Isn't it wonderful seeing things through the mind of a child? 🙂
Have a Blessed Day!
Kandi, go right ahead, message away! 🙂
Cute!
Through the eyes of a child, or out of the mouth of babes. Love that his mind went right to scripture and Heaven. 🙂
you've got a great kid you know?:) His comments always crack me up!
