I’m heading to the dentist today to have a wisdom tooth pulled. They (dentists) have been telling me for years that it really should come out. I made an appointment a year ago to have it pulled and then canceled the appointment. It isn’t bothering me. When it comes to dental work I think the familiar saying, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” should apply. A couple months ago my dentist brought the subject up again. This time she was a little more adamant and said, “trust me you don’t want to wait until it is giving you problems”.
I’ve never minded going to the dentist because I haven’t experienced any horror stories. But, I am slightly nervous today. I’ve never had a tooth pulled.
