Recently, while preparing my morning coffee, I noticed the words on the back of the coffee bag.
Folks, even my coffee beans have a story.
What’s yours?
Someone needs to hear your story.
Someone needs to hear His story.
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips, LORD,
as you know.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly.
(Psalm 40: 9-10)
I do not seal my lips, LORD,
as you know.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly.
(Psalm 40: 9-10)
This makes me think of the song, "How can I keep from Singing?"
How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing
Hi Eileen – short, sweet, and to the point. I want to share God's story more fully
God bless
Tracy
Love it! His story…our story, someone needs to hear it!
I thought of Matthew West's song, 13 (I think that is the name). We all have a story and need to share it.
Just did a study on this very same topic for a writers' group lesson! God encourages us to tell our story of faith.
Blessings!
Pam
And thankfully for us, we have His Story to read, and those examples to live by as well.
It's always fascinating to see where inspiration comes from… isn't it? 🙂
Have a Blessed Day!
I love this part of the verse… "I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help." We can't keep the Gospel to ourselves. We can't hide it, or avoid sharing it. We have to walk with a willing heart, always willing to share the love of Christ with others! Love it!!
Im having trouble commenting today…the comment above was me, kelli!:))
Eileen,
I love hearing people's testimonies and the story that God is writing through them and how He turned ashes to beauty. Lovely post today Eileen, blessings to you.
