Mary carried the hope of the world then.
We carry the hope of the world now.
Because of Christ’s work on the cross and the Holy Spirit left as a deposit inside each and every person who has unwrapped His gift of redemption, we carry this hope with us wherever we go.
The Savior of the world has chosen a partnership approach to spreading His invitation of imperishable hope.
This thought has been swirling like snowflakes around my mind for the last few days. Isn’t it incredible to think about?
The other thought that keeps coming to mind is the song Oh Holy Night. It’s one of my favorites. The verse playing on repeat lately: “A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices.”
This morning in my quiet time, I read the following words…”What I search for in My children is an awakened soul that thrills to the Joy of My Presence!” -Jesus Calling
Last Sunday morning, I asked some folks at church what it might look like if we approached our day with this “thrill of hope.” What would the expression be on our faces? How would we go about tackling our To-Do-List? What would our interactions with the people around us look like?
This hope that conquered the grave, is infinitely bigger than our circumstances and any trial we might be facing today. Let the thrill of that hope fill up your weary life. Let it fill you up and spill over onto every person you meet today!
Beautiful
