A title
fluttered through the door of my heart
and made itself at home

The title of my book

A book
not yet written

Just ideas
and dreams
and possibilities
looking for a place to settle

Gazing through the open door
I catch a glimpse
of what could be

β€œWhat is not started today is never finished tomorrow.”

Love that! That is my heart. I have the title of my book. But it is a book not written. A book I fear. This was an encouragement to me. Thank you.

This is pure beauty. And of course, I want to know…but I will be patient because it will come to fruition and then I can buy it!! πŸ™‚

Ahh, Eileen, this is so good, and of course I'm dying to know the title. Thank you for allowing us a little peek into what you are thinking. That's the thing I love about writing. Ideas are possibilities.

Can't wait to read some follow-up posts on this.

    Inspirationally beautiful~

The seed has been planted. Now, it is time to nourish it, cultivate it and watch it grow. How exciting!

this is awesome.. Boldly pick up the pen, or the typewriter keys and write because God has something to give to us through you!

I love those sweet moments when the Holy Spirit gives an idea. Then comes the faith part . . . of doing the work.

You left us hanging here. πŸ™‚

Hi Eileen – This is so good. A bit like eating the whale one bite at a time. Can't wait for the day you post about your completed book!
    God bless

    Hi Eileen,

I think God is speaking through you. that is part of what I did last week. I have the title of my book, which by the way changed about five times, and I am about half way through my first draft, it still needs polish, but it is a start and this post is encouragment to keep going, to keep writing it. I am excited to find out where it leads.

As a "wish I could be" writer, I just love this. I think God gave you more than a peek. I do believe he gave you a nudge.

Eileen, your words today are so familiar – the name before the body, the whispers of things to come. I'm so glad you are sharing it, even a glimpse of it. It is a gift to be given a story, a message. You seem like a girl who knows that. Good for you.

And if you want to email me the title of your book, I promise I won't tell anyone πŸ™‚

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to each of you for the supportive comments. So neat to see so many of you who also share this dream of writing a book! I was thinking today that when this goal is met…I wonder if the title will stay the same? Or if the Lord just used it as a pathway. I don't know. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds! Thanks again, everyone! Now I have all of you as my accountability partners to motivate me to continue moving forward. πŸ™‚
