Into Marvelous Light

It’s Friday and time for another link up with The Gypsy Mama.  If you would like to join in Click HERE.

He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness,
and broke away their chains. Psalm 107:14

I sat for five minutes staring at this verse that came to mind for this week’s prompt.  I sat trying to sum up (in five minutes) what this verse means to me. It’s like sitting in a five star restaurant and trying to choose one thing to eat when there are so many good choices to choose from…

It means everything.

I can breathe again.

I don’t have to hide anything.

I’ve been pardoned.

I am no longer trapped.

My heart can run freely in the wide open spaces.

I can feel the sunshine.

I have hope.

You, LORD, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.
Psalm 18:28

Happy Good Friday!

i found myself with many of the same difficulties this morning! so much on my heart–not quite the right words to express it. maybe that’s how it should be? for how can we really, with any amount of adequacy, express all that He has done for us?
you did well, though. love those verses. and when it’s all said and done. . . yes, HOPE.
    have a blessed Easter!

I agree. How do we sum today up in 5 minutes or even one word? We can’t, but God knows our love for Him through the gift of all our words.

Thank you for this today! I’m visiting from 5-Minute Fridays!

    Happy Good Friday!
