Share A Song Monday

Happy Monday! The song I’ve chosen to share with you all is called “Please Be My Strength” by Gungor. They have new music being released next month and I can’t wait!

I love this song, but my favorite portion…

“I cannot create it

And I cannot sustain it

It’s Your love

That’s keeping me”

What a great reminder to seek Him more and strive less.

Now, it’s your turn! In the comments section of this post, leave a link to a song you have been enjoying lately. If you have a story for why the song is special, please share, I would love to hear it. My reasoning behind sharing songs here is similar to the Give A Penny Take A Penny concept. You leave a song…and someone else comes along and picks it up. It might be one small treasure that makes another heart dance today.

When I saw your title and was reminded that It's Share a song today, my first thought was, "Oh, I'm not prepared." But then as I listened to the thunder outside, God reminded me of the song we sang yesterday at church, Let it Rain. 🙂

Jennifer, great choice. You can't help but smile listening to that one 🙂

Julie, they are so good! Thanks for stopping by.

Lisa, love how something like thunder can bring about a memory. Nice song.

Strong Enough to Save by Tenth Avenue North has been a song I have been hearing quite of bit of lately, perhaps God is trying to tell me something :). It is not a new song, but a goodie.

The last couple weeks at church, the praise team's been playing "The Potter's Hand". Shannon's viola part brought me to tears last Sunday (she was so wrapped up in it, it was absolutely beautiful to watch and hear… I could see the Father's presence in her. :-)). This is the Hillsong Version :

    Have a Blessed Day Eileen!

This one is mine. I cling to it recently as we face steeper challenges than I ever imagined with one of my daughters. – enjoy it! And thanks for the idea. I'll have to come back and see what other songs people add here over time.

Phil, I haven't heard that song in several years. Thanks for sharing!

Laurie, Love that song! Clinging to this grace is so important. Especially when we face challenges that remind us how powerless we are. Thanks for coming by, Luarie 🙂
