What if I Believed?

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.” Ps 100:4

This morning I read Day 36 of the Hillsong 40 Days of Revival. The commentary in the sidebar pointed to the fact that in Old Testament time there was only one entrance to the tabernacle. Once anyone entered through the gates with their sacrifice, they were on holy ground. This is where they worshiped and praised God.

I love the next reminder: “Under the new covenant, Christ is the gate; the ‘one way’ by which we enter into God’s presence…A heart of praise sees the grace of Christ – that by His sacrifice alone we are once again in His presence – and it is in His presence that we are revived and renewed.”

What if I believed, Christ in me
Oh, I would praise You with my life
Let my story lift You high
What if I believed, Christ in me
What if I believed, Christ in me

Today, I am thrilled to be guest posting for my writer friend, Josh Collins. I met Josh a couple of month ago through a Facebook group I am a member of called Writers Unite. Josh runs a weekly post called Worship Wednesday and encourages his readers to create and live awesome experiences.
