Reflecting

As this year comes to an end, I can’t help but do some reflecting. I started thinking about this blog. I am so thankful for a place to write and share. Hopefully, I am encouraging others along the way. When I started this blog a year and a half ago, I had no idea where it was headed. I just knew I needed to start writing again.

If you have followed my blog for any length of time you know that my thoughts and posts are all over the place. Some posts share a little bit of who I am and where I’ve been. Some posts share what I’m learning by taking the “scenic route.” And, other posts just give my readers a taste of my quirky and sometimes off the wall personality. A friend of mine recently called me a dork. I embrace this label.

I am a dork. I encourage others to embrace their inner dork. It’s fun.

On a slightly more serious note, I am going to link to 3 posts that I have written since I started blogging. I think they do a good job of summarizing what this blog is all about.

My first link is to the first blog post I ever wrote. I think it will always be my favorite post. This life is a journey and every experience, good or bad, has a purpose. God continues to teach me this everyday. Memories of Mom

My next link discusses one of the most important requests I ever asked of God. This request completely transformed my life and if I continue to make this request, I believe God will continue to show me more of who He is and what He can do. Matters of the Heart

My last link…well…it speaks for itself. It’s me… embracing my inner dork! Ode To Coffee

I am looking forward to the next chapter in this journey called life.

Happy New Year to you all!

Happy New Year Eileen! I love reading your posts, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, but always words of wisdom and words I need to hear. I am so glad I got to know you this year, even though we have never met.

Best wishes to you and your family in coming year.

I posted a comment and it disappeared! Oh well, I will say it again. I have enjoyed getting to know you this year too. I've met so many people this year via blogging who have made me think…if they were my neighbor I would invite them over for coffee. 🙂
Happy New Year to you and your family!
